Hurricane Holler Lodge
Hurricane Holler was established in the summer of 2022 and is located a little over an hour southwest of Louisville, in Garfield Kentucky on 118 acres.
Upon entering the holler, you will descend down the winding mile long driveway to the new rustic 3,000 SF lodge where you will begin the experience of a lifetime. The mile long driveway will provide you a scenic view of amazing foliage in the fall and trees as far as you can see during the summer months.
(Book your trip quickly since we only book 2 trips per month to maintain/provide the most exclusive experience to all of our guests.)
Our Premiere Shooting experience allows you the opportunity to shoot over 30 types of weapons (pistols and rifles) under the instruction of our elite instructors.
Your shooting experience will include safety training and range time in our newly constructed 125-yard gun range building, our 7-station gun range allows you to safely test your shooting skills at over 35 - AR 500 targets.
To challenge your skills at further distanced targets, we provide you with an opportunity to experience long-range shooting with a variety of high-powered rifles at our 500-yard range.
Our guests will receive personalized attention and training from our highly skilled and trained elite instructors. Their professional instruction and unique coaching styles will ensure you are comfortable and confident in your handling of the weapons, which will allow you a memorable experience.

RAY CAYABYAB
Ray is an Army Veteran with 23 years of service. He saw active duty in Desert Shield/Storm as well as Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
Ray’s accreditations include Long Range Designated Marksman, Small Arms Master Gunner, Long Range Reconnaissance Team Leader, and Close Quarters Battle Instructor. He has been employed as a Private Military Contractor as well as providing Personal Security Detail. He has held the role of Team Leader in the areas of Executive Protection, Tactical Command as well as in Principal Recovery.
Ray is a State of Kentucky Concealed Carry Deadly Weapons Instructor, NRA Certified Instructor, NRA Chief Range Safety Officer Certified, State Certified Basic Pistol/Rifle Safety Instructor, Advance Pistol/Rifle Instructor, and a Certified Glock Armor.

MICHAEL VODE
Michael is a decorated Marine Corps Sergeant, Veteran of the first Gulf War as well as a retired Police Officer. He has over 30 years of experience in military law-enforcement, SWAT, emergency medical and the security services field.
Michael has held the role of the Commander of the criminal investigation division for a local police department and the Assistant Commander to the Northwest Indiana Regional SWAT team. While on the SWAT team, he was a team medic and the lead instructor for firearms and tactics. He has experience in high-risk warrants, armed barricaded subjects, and hostage situations. Michael also has experience and training in corporate security and executive protection. Most recently, he was deployed overseas providing high threat protection for the US government.
Accredited in the Nationally registered Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, Certificated Instructor in “Stop the Bleed,” Handgun, rifle, Simulations, live fire shoot house, impact, and edged weapons. Also, less lethal weapons, such as, OC spray chemical and impact munitions and distraction devices.
